Wow, it has been one busy summer! Especially with my 18-month-old (Parker) running around the studio, and my new son (Chase) being born in June. The kids and the heavy workload help explain my lack of blog posts during these last 7 months or so, but it's mostly because my new website is a bit of a blog / portfolio-site hybrid. So I haven't had as much of a need for the traditional blog format (sorry, Blogger). But I'm going to at least try to find a more useful and less redundant function for my "News" section. There will likely be much less info on each project here from now on, with the bulk of the specifics living on my main website. So be sure to click through whenever there may be a hunger for more info and images on any specific project. And I'll likely be posting a lot more experimental, non-commissioned work here from now on.
Here's a brief list of clients that I've been working with over the last few months: The New Yorker, Hemispheres, Garden & Gun, Men's Health, Cisco, Gilroy Gardens, Inkling, The Rose, Pacific Natural Foods, Death & Co., Penguin Publishing (3 book covers, 160 interior illustrations) as well as a handful of branding projects, website designs, book pitches, and label designs. Some of these are ongoing projects, so I can't link to them or post any info quite yet. But soon!
