Inkling just launched their new site design, complete with a scrolling banner that I illustrated: http://www.inkling.com/ Inkling is a company that makes interactive textbooks for the iPad, so the idea behind the banner was to illustrate a range of some of the subjects they cover (History, Medical, Music & Art, and Business), and to have the banner scroll behind the iPad while changing the image on the screen to a relevant book subject.
This project took about 3 weeks from start to finish, since there were so many individual pieces to figure out. One of the hardest parts of the project was just figuring out how all the pieces fit together. But the challenge made this one extra fun to work on, and more rewarding in the end.
They also printed these out as actual banners for the Inkling headquarters. I'll post some pics of those once I get them. Be sure to click on the images above to see them much larger for some of the cool detail.
